Vancouver scored their fourth of the night nearly eight minutes into the period. While the Oilers were making a line change, Naslund fired the puck down ice from his own zone to Taylor Pyatt. I know you guys were probably already dead drunk after the loss of your team, but at least watch the play where your goalie gave up two huge rebounds that ended up in that goal.

It wasn't a "give and go" between Hank and Tank. Pyatt shot a weak backhander and Roli let out a huge rebound where Henrik followed up to take another shot, where Roli let out another huge rebound and Pyatt didn't hesitate to grab his first goal of the season.

:P Stop trying to rewrite history! LOL! IT'S YOUR GOALIE'S FAULT!

I don't think I'd blame them if they were dead drunk. Ugh, not a good game. I guess this answer's Scott Oake's question to Kelly Hrudey about where the Canuck's A game had gone. Either that or the Oilers just sucked really badly and you guys didn't need your A game.

Definitely not our A game. :\ Too much defensive mistakes still... bad clearing attempts, etc. The good thing is that the D kept most of the shots by Oil on the outside, and not give up a lot of quality scoring chances.

Still, oil were able to keep sustained pressure in our zone for long periods of time... Definitely need to improve on that.

That's true. You have a fairly young defensive corps right now, yes? If so, they'll learn with time. At least your defencemen weren't trying to kill their own goalie last night.

PS, I really like your banner. Willie Mitchell was my boy back when he played in MN.

Young d corps? No. lol! Our youngest is Krikey and he's 24, followed by Bieksa (26), Weaver 29, Willie 30, Ohllie 31, Sami, 33, Miller 36? We're pretty old. And out top 3 (Willie, Ohllie, Sami) are all signed for at least 2 more years so it'd be a season or 2 before we bring up our young guns. :(

Just kidding then. For some reason I was under the impression that you guys had a younger d-corps than that. My bad. I blame this confusion on my lack of sleep caused by intense amounts of homework and rehabbing my wrist/for some reason this season I don't seem to have a clue what's going on with the Canucks. I guess I'll just have to keep reading and find out.

Aww, that's okay. <3 Perhaps you just got that idea during the preseason since we iced our rookies most nights except for the last preseason game. So our blueline was pretty young then... Most nights the only veteran D was Krikey... XD! That and we just have pretty decent depth on defense just cause of our young ones o_O and I guess that's why you got it mixed.

XD But don't worry, I don't know a lot about Minny ;D so it's okay.
